Don't get me wrong, I think its great that someone has invented a little gadget that makes draining down your caravan easier. But as long as people follow the steps on how to drain down there caravan properly, is there really any need for something like this?

Also £50 for what equates to a connector for your specific make of van, a bit of pipe, and a connector. Call me old fashioned but I think I'll stick to the tried and tested way of draining down. I mean the lowest point in the water system in my van is funnily enough where the drain plug is, who would have thought it

I always drained down when leaving site and left all taps open etc. But a few year`s ago on our first trip of the season come time for bed and the found the bedding in the bed locker was wet, on further examination I found that one of the wale pipe connectors was leaking luckily I carry a spare so not a big problem just a visit to the laundry room to use the tumble dryer. On returning home I mentioned the problem to my service engineer who happens to be a friend and he said that a small amount of water can remain in the recess of the wale connector after draining down and a severe frost can push the connector apart, so when tacking delivery of our new van a short while after I invested £45 in the floe drain down system and was amazed to find that 1 litre of water was forced out even after draining down on leaving site. My personnel view is that £45 is a small price to pay to protect £22000.00 caravan

I have used a Floe for the last 4 yrs, usually getting an extra litre out of the pipework - when first used I got no pressure - rang the factory - the owner spoke to me & sent a set of o rings free - they solved the problem. Can't recommend it enough
