I have recently bought a Dorema Porch Awning and decided to buy the awning rail stopends produced by Dorema.
Having received them there are no instructions to show which way they need to be inserted into the awning rail. They have a forked end and the other end is at a 90degree angle. There is another barrel shaped piece into which a thumbscrew is fixed to clamp it in place.
My question is (sorry if this sounds thick!!) but which end do I insert first. It may be that all will become clear when I try to use them but for now it is puzzling me. If any Dorema Porch users out there use these can they give me some advice? Many Thanks

My advice would be phone the Dorema help line. I have used it before and the help given is excellent.

The awning has a plastic-rail, which runs along the inside roof of the awning , paralel to were it feeds onto the caravan. The forked end fits over this plastic rail and you tighten the thumbscrew. Then you put the awning rail into the hole. This allows the rail to hang from the awning roof. If you erect the awning you will see how it fits.
