Bought a 110 a/H battery in April 2013 - best warranty I could find was for 4 years. Battery passed OK during service this March, but when I came to shift the van earlier this month it was too low to even get the mover to make an effort. Not sure if the the charging button had been switched off at service, but it should not have discharged so quickly.
But, as we are going to France, and the battery was a year past its warranty, I replaced it with the same model which still comes with a 4-year warranty.
I would have risked it in the UK, but I have heard stories of eye watering prices in France.
Bertie.
got a ego mover advertised on here as my new van has a powertouch fitted, i bought it when it was approx 12month old last sept, and fitted it last month but sold van so i removed the mover from van took approx two hours fitting and 30 mins removing. found it made hitching up single handed. so if anyone is after a bargain then look at the adds.

The fitters have just said they have a Trumo motor mover or we could stick to the planned powrtouch . Any thoughts? I’ve only researched the powrtouch one.
Had a Truma mover on our last van and never had any issues with it.
A lot more expensive than a Powrtouch.
