Hi all
On weekend stay in our van I was checking the overhead lockers were clean and found in the first overhead locker in the right hand side two electrical leads - one red one black I think. They had small silver metal electrical type ends on them. Any idea what these are for anyone? We’ve had the van 3 years and I have never noticed or seen them before!

From your description it sounds like speaker cables, but without a picture, hard to tell. If you haven't noticed then can't be too important

To be honest as above speaker cables.
May be 12v cables to something else.
Check around that area see if anything may have been fitted in the past.

I know in ours when I asked the dealer to fit speakers he said that the wiring was in place already.

Check if there is any voltage on them. If there is, make sure they cannot touch each other and short-out. They could be a 12 volt feed for something that is no longer there, if you bought second-hand.

Some times there's some cables to connect the mover when the hand set doesn't work.
