Does the pink fluid for the flush tank serve any useful purpose? or is it just there to turn into black bits and make a mess.
I'm thinking plain water is the way forward after spending an hour flushing out my flush tank
It beggar's belief that nobody ever reads the label for product information?
On Blue and Pink fluid containers it tells you exactly what the product does on the reverse side very much the same as all other chemical products.

Right I have a container of "Blue Diamond" pink bowl cleaner in front of me.
There is no mention of black bits
Blue Diamond is an anagram is dumblonde so this explains the dark matter. Blondes usually have black roots - same thing

I have found that elsan double pink does not leave black bits unlike a number of other brands I have tried.
I totally agree as I changed to Elsan Pink from the Thetford brand after someone elses advice on a rally field a few years ago so we are not the only ones to find this. There probably are many other folk too that know this that are not members of this forum.
