I know most will think this is a stupid question but....... we have two cheeky medium sized dogs and after we have gone to bed and turned the lights off they then decide to jump onto our fixed bed and try and sleep with us! Neither myself or my husband are 8 stone so this is rather a squash
The partition door on our bailey is only a concertina material pull across affair and both the dogs get under this no problem.
We went to the local DIY store on Sat to try and find something that we can use as a barrier (has to be quite thin to slide between end of bed and the fridge) but nothing looked quite right. Hubby said he'll get some plywood cut but I was just wondering if anyone else has overcome this problem and how?
Thanks everyone.
Kennels definitely out of the question, couldn't go away with my husband on our own
Haven't ever put them in crates before, so not sure but Trellis sounds a good shout.
Thanks again
We have just swapped to a van without a stable door and I have been wondering what I can when the door is open to keep the dog in. Trellis sounds like a plan.
------------- Started with a motorbike and tent.......my gallery, my life.
We still use the wooden 'gate' made for our first'van. It is an inch wide frame with dowling struts that is slightly wider than caravan door and is table height. This has proved effective at keeping the dogs in when the 'van had no fly screen. One of our dogs tried to walk thru the pleated screen door on new van. It also comes in handy as an airer. I had suggested using trellis, but OH made this which is much sturdier. Sorry cant post photo, as technology has passed me by.
