I just purchased a Hymer Nova 540 SL 2008, very tidy and in great condition for its age. Also very rare esp as it has the door on the UK side which I understand was only the case for a few years.
Cant comment on it other than it tows well (was over 600miles to get it home) and that the bed is very comfortable (stopped for an overnight on way home)
All works as it should and it was serviced just prior to going over to see/get it.
I bought from a couple who had a Hymer motorhome and were very fussy about the caravan they bought (one prior owner with full dealer history till warranty expired then a full service history with local service people)
Not sure how many miles it has done but the folder of instruction manuals from new plus ALL the receipts for all the services and work/purchases made sure helps with a van of this vintage.
I spoke to the service Engineer who carried out the service and also to my own service Engineer for advice and guidance as it cost me near 1K to go and get it so I needed to be as sure as possible before leaving home.
Its now tucked in my shed waiting on the better weather to kick of the season on St Paddys day weekend.
