i like serviced pitches as i can shower without worrying about the worry of running out of water mid way.
last time i was on a regular pitch in france i walked round asking where i should empty the waste water carrier. one Dutch guy shrugged and said "honeshtly i dont know",and hte truth is the dutch dont seem to use the water in their caravans.
but when on a srviced pitch i still have a chat. an old Irish chap asked me to take a look at the thetford toilet in his campervan because he thought the flush wasnt working properly. he hadnt put any bowl rinse in it or any toilet blue either, it reaked. anyway i had a great chat with him about where i was going, where he and his family were going, where i was going in ireland later in the year. problem was we had a 6h drive ahead of us and i wanted to get going but i humored the ole fella.
