Following on from the "parking at motorway services" post, do any of you have any little gems that you use regularly? Those off the motorway, tucked away places that you always stop at?
We always use this place if were heading down to Cornwallhttp://www.woodleighcoach.com Just at the top of the A30 after you leave the M5. A bit tight if you get more than about 5 caravans in there but its a lovely place, reasonably priced and they do a cracking full English and homemade cakes

We always stop off at the 303 American Diner (funnily enough on the A303)
The car park isn't huge, but there is plenty of space for small to medium caravans.
Been past there a few times on our way home when the M5's been rammed. Never stopped though, we always used a pub (the name of which escapes me now) a bit further along that has a huge car park.
When travelling to the Portsmouth ferry port, we stop off for a break at Sutton Scotney services on the A34. This is the only M-way type services where we refill in the UK - otherwise we never fill up at M-way stations. When travelling to Cornwall (300+ miles for us) we prebook a one night stop at Cadeside C.C. site near Wellington, Somerset. Then I fill up at Sainsbury's whilst the car is off the van.
