Well, we have had a bit of a disasterous weekend. This is our 4th trip away in our brand new 2018 swift challenger and the first thing that happened on Saturday was that the fridge stopped working. After trying everything we could think of we eventually phoned our dealers emergency helpline and spoke to a very nice man who was so helpful (even at 6.15pm on a bank holiday Saturday evening). He talked us through disconnecting the fridge from the swift command unit and it is working great as stand alone fridge. Why it ever had to be connected up to the swift command unit in the first place is beyond me but anyway, issue 1 was resolved and when we take the van in to them in a few weeks for some other warranty work, they will do a software upgrade which will enable the fridge to once again communicate with swift command if we want it to.
Then, today, I opened the cupboard under the sink, only to find it full of water. On further investigation we found that the sink waste had popped off the waste pipe and therefore the contents of the sink was draining into the cupboard below. We connected the pipe up again and dried out the cupboard as best as we could but now I am really worried about damp getting into the floor as a result. Does anyone have any tips for getting this cupboard dried out thoroughly to prevent damp from taking hold? There are lots of holes in the floor of the cupboard where various pipes enter and exit the area and water must have gone down most of them as there was so much of it.
Sighhhhh! I'm really beginning to wish we had just kept our old van as we have had so many problems, albeit small ones, so far and we have only had it since February. It sort of takes away the excitement of getting a new van when there are so many problems.
I think it is very unlikely to have caused any real damage. Standing water which has been there for a while, longer that you insinuate, will soak in, but as you say, holes in the floor will have allowed it to drain. Leave the cupboard open for a few days to air/dry out.

The first thing on the floor is usually the vinyl covering so chances are that little or no water got to the ply floor. As Ardian has says there is no long term soaking so what was wet will dry out with a bit of air flow around it.

Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for a whole weekend.
Thanks for the advice everyone,, this has been reassuring.
I have got out our little fan heater that we sometimes use in the awning and it is currently circulating warm air around the cupboard so hopefully that will be enough to dry out anything I missed with the kitchen paper yesterday.

If it was me I think I'd direct a fan heater on a low heat setting into the cupboard. This would dry it with gentle heat and air circulation.
I second this. Fan heater on low setting directed into the cupboard.
Hope that you have better luck on your next trip out, Pixie
