Looking to potentially upgrade our awning from the Solaris Voyager to either an Isabella or Dorema. Main difference seems to be the fabric! Isabella Isacryl - which I like the feel and look of, Isabella Isotex ( coated polyester?) or Dorema TenCate coated polyester
Looking to change to carbon fibre poles too.
Opinions/reviews gratefully anticipated!

My German awning DWT Zelt has Isacryl fabric (woven acrylic) for the side walls and a coated polyester roof. My Isabella porch awning is Isacryl and have found you do not get any condensation, it breaths. Poles, prefer steel for main awning, porch carbon fibre, my personal choice.
Isabella are expensive, but you get what you pay for and are quality, DWT are just as good but now difficult to find a dealer in the UK.

My own awning is the Dorema Daytona with steel poles - just about the cheapest full awning on sale.

It's four years old and is erected multiple times through the season, has coped with all weathers and is probably up for a total of seven weeks per year, including 3/4 weeks abroad in hot sunny weather when we use it as a shade without the panels.

For our touring needs, it's perfect and has had no rips or other malfunctions. A top-of-the-range awning would be even more sturdy but even heavier (material - poles could be carbon fibre).

If I was putting it up on a seasonal pitch though I would look carefully at a high-end awning - no getting away from the fact that Isabellas are very smart and desirable.

Ive got the Dorema Daytona and have to admit its a cracking awning, not the biggest or the best out there, but for the price I don't think you can get batter.

Only thing I wish I had done was to get the carbon fibre poles, I got the steel poles and they weigh an absolute tonne.

I fancied the carbon fibre poles, but at the time they came only with wingnut fastenings, not easygrip.
