OK folks, here's another one. I have a Sprite 4.50C 1993 caravan, and the blinds are a real pain. The large front end one is a real problem to use, and the kitchen one fell off the wall. They are all retro fitted, and really past their sell by date. Does anyone have any ideas please, We can probably change the sides/back for roller blinds, but the front one on a slope appears to be impossible to repair/change. Have any of you any ideas.
Thank you in advance
I've put roller blinds in my little Freedom and got over the sloping windows by putting a length of elastic with loops on each end threw the bottom thingy and a couple of screws in the wall either side and just clip the loops over the screw heads and it keeps the blind nicely against the window.

When you say that the front blind is a problem to use, in what way do you mean?
Is it sticking or slack and not springing back up fully, or is it something else?
Collectively they do all of these. The only one that worked easily was the kitchen and that fell off the wall!!
All were retro fitted, and I suspect they were used then. I think we are going to go for roller blinds, the biggest problem we have is i think the width of the front window, it's almost 2meters.
We got ours from Dunelm and some of them are nearly two meters wide, easy to fit and like I said I slipped the bar out at the bottom and stapled a length of elastic with loops on the ends and of course put it back in so they hook onto screws in the wall and keep them against the sloping window, works a treat.
If the blinds are sticking and slack then they just probably need retensioning. There is a plastic cover at the top which clips off then push out the bar (which as a flat tang at the end that locates into the slot) from the securing mount. Wind the mechanism back a few turns further then fit the tang back into the slot on the securing mount. Apply a spray of silicon lubricant into the runners either side and that should fix the problem of the front blind. It's a bit tricky trying to retension but with a bit of patience it can be achieved.
