Hi all!!!
my porch awning finally shredded itself beyond repair, on a blustery evening a couple of weeks ago!
so i have been offered a AIRGO RAPID 260 awning at a reasonable price.
sold as brand new (used twice).
trouble is.... i cannot find any evidence that this awning exists!!
if i google Airgo rapid 260 i just get the kampa or vango awnings?
before a 2 hour drive, does anyone out there know anything about this awning?...year it was launched?... i guess its a cheap copy of the Kampa rally pro 260?
ps... the only picture i have seen, is of the awning packed away..... the bag has rapid 260 written on it.
hoping someone can give me clarity!!!!
best regards
David
Many thanks for the link!.... the writing on the side of the awning is identical to the writing on the tent bag i am looking at getting... so i guess this must be the one....funny it doesnt say Kampa on the bag or awning though.....companies usually slap logos everywhere nowadays?
anyways.....your help is much appreciated.
thanking you kindly
cheers!
Dave
We have the 220 version, there is no mention of Kampa anywhere on the awning. The 260 would have sold for £200 or so and included the pump. The fabric is a lot lighter than the Rally Pro fabric but we found it ok for a quick weekend awning, for longer stays we take a Rally Pro 390.
cheers rob,
i was looking for a quick solution/and was offered the 260 for £100, as long as its in a good condition you cant really go wrong with that!! my intention was to pick up the rally pro when the prices start to decrease again!... i will bomb over and check it is 'nearly new'.
many thanks for the info
best regards
Dave
