Can anyone suggest somewhere family friendly to stop with a caravan in tow in the Burnham on Sea area? Somewhere we can get lunch, would prefer not to use the services unless there are no other options really.

what about going to south esplanade in burnham and parking up and having lunch in the caravan their? either way I would certainly not be leaving the caravan unattended anywhere, be that in services or elsewhere

Why don't you prepare your own sandwiches, wrap them up in some cling film and put them then in the cold fridge. You can then stop at the services and have a cold drink from the fridge or make a fresh cuppa etc. That's what we usually do as it's not only cheaper but more convenient and beats having to wait in any queues for food.

Get of at junction 23, head towards Bridgwater, big pub that dose food, and is not to expensive. Name of said pub is Admrals table.
Should be ok to park, just watch it as you go in as it’s a little tight if not park in the industrial estate and walk around the corner.
Any more help or info just let me kno it’s local to me so I know the area quite well.

That's what we usually do Tango. We just use the services for the toilets and to walk the dog.

We try to do that, but on more than one occasion we have had to drive straight through and move on as all the parking spaces are taken by other vehicles. The poor dogs have had to cross their legs for many a mile! Unlike France, service areas are not frequent on our motorways.
