Hi
Had to sell our caravan some years ago due to drive at house. It was a huge 5 berth. Since then we tried tent, trailer tent, hiring static etc, but nothing make us happy like a caravan. We still have drive issues but no longer need a big caravan.
Looking for the smallest used 2 berth (please dont suggest a Freedom, i would love one but too pricey) It must have a loo

If you can pick up a second hand Eriba they are lovely small caravans. I haven't a clue what one might cost though.
if a freedom is too costly then an eriba is doubly so.. :)

I would say an Eriba would be quadruple the price of a Freedom.

Have a look here.
What a good link and now having looked at various 2 birth layouts, I know the one I would be going for on a tight budget would be this little beauty which has good stout solid construction wallls http://www.caravanfinder.co.uk/touring-caravans-for-sale/layouts-caravans/geist-lv485-used-caravan-2005-west-yorkshire-tk02302ae

...and a damp meter.
Of course you only need to employ the use of a damp meter if you are buying a "flimsie" older type of UK manufactured, whereas the 2005 Geist I suggested has a solid construction where damp isn't a problem.

Just been pitched next to a Adria Adora which is leaking like a sieve at the front end. A newish caravan and the poor owners have had to patch it up using polythene sheeting and sticky tape in an effort to keep out the rain.
At one point the front side window fell off into the owners hand as he was trying to fix this leak.
Its not just British vans that suffer from poor manufacturing standards.

You've got to think about weight too, depending on your towcar. You said you want used. I doubt that you can get cheaper than a used Freedom. Depending on age of course but that goes for any caravan make.
The OP has not said how old he is prepared to go, what price he is prepared to pay, or how long the caravan can be without drive issues. So it is difficult to to advise him on van types/models.
Bertie.
Looks like he ain't coming back. Mind you he never responded to the first post he made in 2017!
