He said there are L brackets in the gas locker on the bulkhead and the screws have all popped out. I had never noticed it or seen any symptoms, he is going to show me on wednesday.
This is awful, how can this happen, it's had its service and been ok. I know you are hoping to trade in and has affected that. Could this service have missed this or could this have occurred with wear and tear during the year.We take services on good faith, ours is an independent dealer, and also an old van, which he has looked at since we bought.
This is all hassle and stress, can do without.

So that will be the body lifting off the floor then.
With ours you could get a hold of the front handles and actually lift the whole body up as far back as the axle.
There are only two manufacturers that use the bracket system to hold the body to the floor, Lunar and Coachman.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
One of the reasons we try and use an AWS technician every second year as they seem to pick up a lot more faults than the dealer workshop. I wonder why.
Of course there is then the hassle you need to take the caravan to the dealership anyway, but well worth it if a serious fault is found.
