Do people keep all tow-balls free from oil and grease or just ones used with braking hitches?
If so what is the reason, i understand the braking hitch requires friction, but a normal hitch surely would benefit from a light coat of grease.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
As I don't have a stabiliser hitch on either my caravan or my small trailer, I keep a light smear of vaseline on my towball. It keeps any rust at bay, and stops that infernal squeaking and groaning that I otherwise get every time I go over a bump.
