Hi All,
Have a touring caravan that stays on pitch year round, the awning only up from May-Oct. Found a split in the beading join to the caravan. Think may need changing as getting on and other bits dropping off - not unlike self.. We love Isabella - But not sure which would be most viable for us, North or Prisma Seed, or any other ideas.. all answers greatly appreciated.. TIA
I have noticed there are a lot of Isabella awning for sale second hand maybe due to people changing to air awnings .
We have a magnum quite a large porch awning . Because we have bought so many full size awnings that never fit When we change vans . But this one will plus excellent quality and easy to put up .

When we were on a seasonal pitch we always bought second hand Isabellas as leaving them up for the whole season invariably took its toll and it was cheaper to buy second hand and replace every few years.
Isabella awnings can cope with most weather conditions. We have had a few. At the moment we have the Isabella Magnum, suits the two of us perfectly. Also have the Isabella Eclipse sun shade and an Isabella windbreak. Not cheap but excellent quality.
We had a Walker awning on our seasonal pitch.
Bought used from ebay for £105 (*instead of £1300 new.)
Used it for 6 seasons.
Part-exed it and got £150 trade in for a new Ventura when we changed caravans. It was still in excellent condition.
The point is ...... yes there is Isabella, but other brands using identical materials are available for less money.
We also bought a used Walker, a Fusion 240, which had been used for about a month by another seasonal owner on our site the previous year for less than half price.
After it's first full season it still looks brand new.
When the site lost 6 awnings during the bad winds in September, we only had 3 pegs out - 18" pegs to give you an idea of how bad it got on our site.

We had the same this year.
Several awnings damaged, one of which punched a hole in the caravan wall.
We were fine - nothing moved.
You have to REALLY peg the awning on a seasonal pitch. We double ped the corners and use storm straps.
