I have a difficult situation. Here goes. I currently live in the north of England but want to move back to the south west. I have already found a house that I want to live in but I have been told I need to be working in the area to get it. I duly made a whistle stop journey down there and not only found a job but have been offered it too. When I went back to the landlords of my new house they then went on to say that I needed to have 4 payslips proving that I work there. I obviously can't commute 380 miles each way each day to achieve this so I am looking to site my caravan for approximately 6 weeks to live in while I gain the required payslips with my new employer. The major problem I have I finding somewhere to do this. Can anyone please point me in the right direction for somewhere close to Kingsbridge south Devon that I might be able to this? I will still be paying rent on the house I currently occupy with my wife as she will be staying there until we actually move down so I am looking for somewhere extremely reasonable. if your not already a member of either the camc or c&c join either, then look on the site directory for the cl or cs listing in either their books or on here you would have to move the caravan at least once tho due to not being able to stay on one site for more than 28 nights although that might increase depending on how bookings are,generally the sites will charge around £15 a night but you may get a discount for the longer term if your lucky enough.

TBH if the LL is being that picky at this stage I would be looking elsewhere as obviously not a LL to be dealing with considering you have to pay 1 month upfront plus an equivalent deposit. Make sure that the LL deposits the deposit money into the government backed Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme. By law this has to be done.

Try the campsite search on this site. Look for one near where you want to be and there is an open all year filter you can use.

It doesn't have to be a particular club site, there are lots of private sites which will be fine.

You could try Parklands or the Mounts, both open all year and about 10 minutes from Kingsbridge.
