yes well it all depends on the pattern, the bigger the pattern the more fabric needed also depends on the width of the roll too. I usually just sit down with all the measurements and draw it out on some paper to scale then I can cut the pieces out and move them around so I can figure out the best cutting pattern
Ok will keep that in mind Marg but I do intend to buy plain fabric so that should make it a bit easier and at least I have some idea now so you have been a big help.
Hi. We have just replaced the curtains and depending what you want we found it more economical to buy ready made from Dunelm (sale) as they are already lined and cut them to the measurements you require.

Well I bought 10 meters (plain) and only needed approx half that amount! I have made a double duvet cover and pillow cases with the excess and still have loads left?
