I am looking at a 2011 Adria 390 DS. I caravan alone and the rear dinette would be converted to a permanent single bed. I know Adria have a good name for build quality. I just wondered if anyone has any comments about this model. I noticed the bed bases are solid plywood and wondered if this causes a damp problem under the beds like it used to years ago before slats. I could convert the rear single to slats if necessary. I also wondered if it's a warm caravan. The plus points for me are it's very light and only 6' 9" wide. Any comments would be appreciated.
We have a 2012 altea 542dt. We’ve been very happy with it. No issues with damp and the bed bases. It is a warm caravan and we have been out in it November and February. We did have the electric heater fitted afterwards (it only came with gas) to power the warm air heating. This is used primarily. Sometimes put the gas on as well to heat up the van quickly when no heating been on.
