Another question for you brilliant folk!
So here goes,
When I travel to Dover which would be the last M1 service station I travel past.
Asking because I want to have a break before traveling on to Dover and crossing the channel.
Again thanks in advance.
from west Yorkshire? assuming leeds? well it would be down the a1 m11 m25 over the bridge and then m20, so in that case you would be best looking for a stop at Stanstead before carrying on to dover

If you buy a road map it will indicate where all the services are on the M1.
That's what I do when I plan a route anywhere in the UK.
Do you ever ask where any product is in a supermarket....
I don't.

Toddington on the M1 is the better service area to enter and exit. South Mimms is an absolute pain in the backside in my opinion.
Keiron.
Nothing wrong with South Mimms, in my opinion, unless you count the fact that it is sometimes very busy. As it is on the junction between the M25 and the A1 this is not really surprising. The only thing about it that I don't like is the fuel station. When I last went there a few weeks ago, diesel cost a whopping £1.49 a litre. However, if you need fuel there is a Sainsbury's filling station near to junction 22 or head south on the A1 at South Mimms and there is a Shell station at the next roundabout and a Morrisons opposite.
