Whilst in France last year, I needed an extra length of hose. So I went to a garden centre and found some flat hose. Great - easy to store. made the necessary connections and then, as I walked back from the tap, I noticed that i was getting wet. The "flat hose" was for a watering system and was perforated along its length with tiny holes. Next call was a change into dry clothes and another visit to the garden centre to get some "normal hose".
