Some companies decrease their premiums as the caravan and contents decrease in value with age. They may also offer a no claims bonus which likewise can lower your premium.
It highly unlightly that the depreciation reduction would be offered on a 'New for Old' type policy, as the costs of replacing the goods, including the Caravan/Tent/Equipment increase with inflation each year.
Other factors for gaining a reduction in premium include better Anti theft devices fitted to your Kit, or a change of address/storage facility to one with a lower crime area percentage rating.
Another idea is to compare your premium with another price quotation on a 'like for like' basis from a rival reputable company, then call your last insurance company for a price match. Very often they will try to beat the price you have been offered just to keep you as a customer.

Lucky you - ours went up by nearly 50% - so we swapped companies and got identical cover for less than last year’s.
Can you let me know where you went. Ours has risen by £40 based on last year.

We were with Towergate and moved to Camping and Caravan Club. However, the caravan is stored abroad so limited choices as to companies prepared to offer cover.
