Hi all some help needed, we store our caravan on a C&CC site winter and summer and have limited opportunities to clean our caravan on site. So I'm looking for a something quick ish but effective like Muc Off Caravan Cleaner or the like which I can spray on to remove dirt and algae and then rinse with the help of water and a soft brush. Can anyone recommend a good product? Thanks.
Aldi have a similar product to Muc-off caravan cleaner in store now which is much cheaper.
I've never used it so can't make any comment on the product but I'm sure someone may be able to as there are many members on this forum often post about Aldi offers in store.

Aldi Caravan Cleaner is a very poor substitute for a half decent car wash & wax.
This is an extremely good waterless cleaner, always have a bottle and good microfiber cloths in the van to give it a clean after arriving on site.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Greased Lightning is the best stuff I've used for getting rid of black streaks and you can clean and wax car and caravan without water. It "encapsulates" the dirt and prevents scratches. Just use plenty of microfibre cloths. I'm too fussy about the car paintwork to use it on the car without rinsing dirt off first, but for the caravan it's great stuff - a lot cheaper than Meguires, but I appreciate Meguires do top class products.
I bought a caravan cleaner from a show a couple of years ago, its basically a pipe with a brush on the end.
You put the end in a bucket of hot soapy water push it in and out a few times then start cleaning your van the up and down movement drawers the water out, For taller sections you get a pole extension.
To be fair they work and you can clean your full van with 1 bucket of water.
It sounds great (take a look at reviews on Amazon) but I confess I have never used it and have no idea if it would do any harm to the caravan shell / bodywork.
Used Wet and Forget on my drive at home and not that impressed, I have now ordered some Muc Off for caravans after reading many reviews and it is supposed to be safe too so will hopefully see great results.
No better review than one based on your own experience
I use Muc Off products on my road bike (bicycle as opposed to motorbike) and I have always been very impressed with them. I am lazy though so favour the spray on / rinse off approach to cleaning.
Muc off is brilliant , we bought a van a few years ago that had been under a tree for years , it cleaned it back to a nice shine ,so depend# how bad yours is ..... but I have also used a similar looking stuff I.e pink bottle from the car section in the pound shop and it works as well . Depends how bad your van is ..
A update on this just been out and done our van , quick spray with hosepipe to each section , poured the £1 shop stuff on to a towelling cloth then rub vigorously , then hose down , all the winters green crap and bird s**t gone the van is gleaming and for a 17 year old van looks almost new , couple of hours work ,job done used half a bottle so 50p’s worth
Hi all, I have done the van today with Muc Off and I have to say that I am well impressed so much so that I can't see me using anything else. Once washed I also rinsed off again with Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler very happy with the results!
