The UK leaders are only 60 miles away near St Asaph North Wales.
I know they handle pre owned units so I expect they could accommodate your request if deemed a serious selling opportunity.

Many sites on the continent will not be able to handle a unit as big as a 5th wheeler and you will struggle to find to find one. In addition even with our twin axle we struggle to get onto some pitches due to the narrow roadway on the site.
Why don't you contact some site son the continent to see if they will accept a 5th wheeler before going ahead with the purchase?
Unless you go for the overly large US versions, 5th wheeler's can be decidely easier to tow in restricted areas, compared to a big 4 x 4 towing a long UK legal caravan.
What you can't do however is uncouple and use a mover, so locations need to suit the train length of the unit.
My friend with the Welsh 5th wheeler tours France and Spain, as well as the UK without too much hassle; he is over the channel now somewhere.
i say better not to have slide outs . then if in a nice out of the way place an odd free camp is ok.
slide outs give the game away.
been pulling mine since 2000. great bit of kit.
slide outs use more space.
plus if free camping etc they give the game away . plus if not having the slideouts out makes just stopping and using the caravan hopeless .
mind you could have a word with lynton trailers they have been making fifth wheelers for years .
shame they moved from congleton .
mines a 1987 fifth-wheel.
