I've got a whale water pump on my caravan. 2017 Bailey Pegasus Ancona. Went to try everything out today for the first time this season and about every 15-20 seconds the pump switches on fur about a second. I've tried to set the pressure valve as per the whale website, and it still doesn't stop the clicking. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi, is the battery fully charged before you adjust pressure switch, also make sure there is no small leak from where pump connects to caravan, or from water heater drain plug. As this is first time of use this season have you got rid of all air from the system.

First off expect to adjust the PS whenever a switch between 12v and 230v is made. On 12v make adjustment with the battery fully charged, or caravan charger 'on'

Turn the PS wheel fully clockwise, switch on a tap, then turn the wheel anticlockwise until the pump stops, then a further half turn. This should give you a datum setting with perhaps a very small adjustment either way.

Once you are happy, any unexpected operation is a warning of tap dripping, tap not fully closed, or a leak.
