Hi
I have a 2013 Luna Lexon 560 only out for the first time but the Aldi wet heating system is giving me a headache the pump is in the wadrobe next to the bed so keeps the wife awake when it comes on.
So I have set the timer for (the night time setting) it's set for the 7 days at 22 degrees from 07.45hrs to 22.15hrs.
But its coming on at random times, I have turned off the Auto on setting.

Does any body know if I'm doing something wrong RSVP

Shaun

This might help ensure it is set correctly:

As you have a tank pump you must have the Alde 3010 boiler, and possibly the control panel is the 213 Digital ?

Download the "User manual" from this link.

https://www.alde.co.uk/manuals.html

Go to the 15th page the GB one dealing with the "lower Menu Row".

Study sub section 15 on page 16 dealing with. "Automatic Temperature Change", that is where you need to pay attention.

Check that the temperature set in para 3 is low enough to not come on in the night. Irrecpective of what the "normal" day period temperature is, if the van gets to the temperature you set in this section the pump will come on; so set it so low it does not. If you can't take the temperature going that low then it gets much more expensive as then a change to the quieter boiler pump might help, but that is not totally silent.

It is activating because the night temperature is set too high. Adjust night temperature to about 12C.

Check if the clock is set to 12h rather than 24h time, and if so that its not 12 hours out. This happened to me recently until I realised.

22C is too high overnight - 13 to 15C is enough.

If possible verify the displayed internal temp against another thermometer, and use the Offset function to correct - you might have to check this a few times until you are happy.

Unless you have battery back up, make a note of your settings to save having to do it all again.

Thirteen to 15 is still high enough for the heating to potentially come on before dawn, even in May.
Mine is set to 11 and earlier this month was coming on every night.

If as the OP's the pump is in a sound-box like the wardrobe and one of you sleeps lightly, it is best to set the night temperature low enough so it does not, 5 being as low as it goes; and have a decent duvet.
