We purchased a 2015 Bailey Valencia 111 three weeks ago and made sure we had a two year warranty and got the dealer to check the roof strap - all is well except .....

The caravan is very clean but I noticed on the rear roof crest above the unicorn lettering above bathroom window two slight dips in the aluminium.

Convinced that no mishap had happened with us and not having noticed it before (not always visible) we walked around our local caravan site and spotted three Baileys with the sane dips in exactly the same place - one on a brand new Bailey Stow-ford, one caravanette Bailey cab ( version 4) and one Bailey Unicorn twin wheeler 2016.

Has anybody else spotted this? I had asked a dent teqnician to come out but seems pointless if they are all the same?

Is it a unicorn 2 or 3? I ask because some are fibreglass. It’s not unusual due to the construction of the alutech caravans to see dents where the bolts and brackets have pulled it together it’s also quite common in certain lights and certain weather conditions to see the the structural battens in the roof and the walls etc

As it’s a 3 I’m pretty sure it’s fibreglass. Try and get some photos and upload them but personally I wouldn’t be worried about them.

Hi - I followed another Bailey Valencia on Monday with exactly the same two indentations in the same place - it would appear to me that its around the area where the shower compartment is fixed - in total I have now seen 6 caravans with indentations in the same place
