Purchased an abi award dawnstar (1993) restored it and now looking for an awning that will fit this caravan. It’s only a small 2 berth can anyone tell me what size awning I need or even better if someone has

Hi, if you thread string around awning rail stick it in place in a few places with masking tape to hold it , .make sure string reaches the ground. Then mark and measure string this will give you size for a full awning.

I’ve done this and the measurement was 764 cm, so I purchased an awning which was a bradcot 750cm awning and it’s too big?

Have you measured the ground to ground measurement of the new awning?

Maybe they sent you the wrong one?

Dont forget to measure the ground to ground not just the awning strip, the strip will end about 30cm above the ground.

Was the awning new or used? Possibly extended if used? Sister bought an awning and found 2 panels added.
