Well that was my concern when I spoke to them but she did say we would be kept updated we only bought ours new in June it’s the first time we have bought new so really a little title lost with it all
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I am praying that they will honor existing warranty claims as mine was due to go back to the factory to have the front panel that had cracked repaired just before they went into administration. We did consider trading in to Robinsons caravan when they had an event on earlier this year and atm I am glad we did not trade it in for a new one. I love the layout and just hope that we can get it sorted and enjoy for many more years to come. We saved hard earned cash for our first caravan and stupidly didn't think to pay for it on a credit card or take finance. It is not right that you do not have the same protection if you pay cash :( Never again shall we make this mistake.
I do hope that the new owner takes responsibility for any existing problems and restores everyone's faith in the brand.
We feel same we always had a second hand caravan but June this year we bought new I was panicking like mad but on Saturday we took our caravan into service centres at Campbells because we had quite a lot of problems with new van but she told us the dealer has to honour warranty on vans and all the parts we need are from outside sources the things we will struggle to get are the things that come directly from Lunar those being cupboard doors headboard I am going to ring administrators now to get an update

Never every pay cash for caravan, car, holiday ect always use cr card then you are covered. By all means pay it off straight away. We paid for a 3 way cool box on our cr card glad we did as it failed after a few months no luck with dealer so took it up with cr card company got new one in 2 weeks.
Don't think of it as cr think of it as more protection.
Just spoken to administrators yes Lunar is safe and taken over been told our dealer has all necessary information on warranties and responsibilities so all good the only financial contract we had with lunar was the £500 cash back offer that our dealer was advertising on Lunar behalf over the easter period to this the administrators could not comment at this tome🤔
Thanks to all for replies , suggestions etc , the matter was finally resolved after they managed to get their daughters ( one of which works in a solicitors - conveyancing , but made them think ? ) involved , had a round the table talk with the CEO who offered them a part ex deal against a brand new swift ( had to put to 🙄) gave them the full value that they had paid and they are collecting this morning .
So I suppose all’s well that ends well although they had to put a bit more to , it’s the top of the range elegance and the grief has gone and they can get back to enjoying their retirement 👍🙄
Again .... thanks to all
PS beware of any Lunar Caravan 17 months old it may be theirs
------------- Keep smiling, its later than you think !
