Hi all
Is it best to keep carpet or change it to vinyl flooring has we have a dog and it dose get a bit messy or dose vinyl make it colder it's only a 2 birth as I was thinking it would be easier for me to keep clean
Thapnks
we have lift out carpets for our van, we took them up! we have dogs. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND thought it was a good idea to use cream carpet wants shooting! lol even without dogs cream and mud/grass don't mix well, so now we just have a couple of cheap floor mats where we sit, and dogs lay.
We removed our carpets and had vinyl floor fitted (by carpet fitter) not looked back. We have two hairy, often muddy dogs, so easy to clean. No worries re spills and doesn't seem to make van colder.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Our dog totally ruined the carpets in our 1st van, so when we upgraded to a new van the carpets were removed from the areas the dog had access to and we replaced with 3 pieces of vet bed carefully cut to size.
Result! happy pooch and after each holiday vet bed can be taken up and put in the washing machine.
If and when we upgrade again the original carpets will be brand new!
We also use throws over the seating to keep the upholstery clean, but our furry friend has no interest in jumping onto the seating areas, most content on his freshly laundered vet bed.
