Hi I recently bought a bailey pursuit 2016 caravan. It has taken me ages to sus out the different tech items, but getting there. Only think now is the ceiling 3 lights with switches on light itself. I have van on mains hook up and battery with all switches on main panel on. All consumer unit fuses on. All lighting works but not the 3 on ceiling, cant find any other isolating switches, any ideas please

Maybe ask the place/person you bought it off if they know how it works?

Call your nearest Bailey dealership workshop and ask for advice, which is usually free?

Our last Vigo had similar system once 12v master switch is on, lighting switch on control panel on, they should work.

Unlikely all bulbs failed, could be a fuse.

We have a 2016 Pursuit.
Master switch on control panel on
Lighting switch on control panel on
The big ceiling lights should then work. The switch on them has 3 positions. 1 bulb on, centre off, 2 bulbs on.

The lights in the bathroom are additionally controlled by the pull cord ceiling switch. This will switch on the down lights but the big light will need the 3 position switch setting appropriately as well.

All the lights are fed from the battery which obviously must be charged.

There is a pump switch on the control panel along with an awning light switch as well.

The lighting switch on the control panel allows you to switch lights on and off as you enter and leave the van.

If the big lights still aren't working there must be something wrong.

Romany girl. Sounds like a plan, but cant contact last owner.
navver. At last, found someone with same van, great. Your control panel same as mine, I do have all switches on and all lights work, even pull switch in shower room, but not the 3 large centre lights. I didn't realise that switches have 3 positions, will have to check that but I guess if only one position is off I must have already turned them to on position. I will have to check if one of the row of fuses below consumer unit has blown, running out of ideas. On your van do those lights work when not on hook up.

Yes they do. They are run from the battery so are 12 volt. Off is the centre position.
There are some 12volt fuses under the main consumer unit I think. One of these may have blown.

I recently had some things randomly not working. I checked all the usual and found nothing wrong. All the fuses were intact, switches were in correct positions, etc...
The issue was eventually traced to some dulling of some of the fuse blades. After cleaning and refitting all worked well and have done ever since.
Mine is a much older van, so I might have just lead you up the garden path but it might be worth a look.
Regards,

John.
