There's no easy answer to this. I would try all the local battery suppliers, motor factors etc and then use Google to check online suppliers. Sometimes my local supplier gives a very good price and sometimes a better price is available online and includes delivery, it's a question of shopping around for the best deal.

The cheapest isn't always the best quality as quite often you get what you pay for. However, in saying that, I have had a Lucas 100 ah. battery for the past 6 years which also powers a Powrtouch motor mover which has performed well and still going strong. I purchased mine from a battery supplier in Cannock, Staffordshire called 'Battery Bay' which I think was about £85 at the time. I have been informed by a battery expert that the two best quality brands on the market at present are Yuasa (Japanese) and Bosch (German) which are quite robust but no means cheap.

Not sure where I will get my next one from as the company I have dealt with for years seems to have gone out of business. I looked up their website recently and it isn't there any more. Pity, as they were great batteries at reasonable prices. Bought my first car battery from them in 1966. They used to make them on the premises back in those days.
