Hi, for reference I have a 2009 lunar clubman Es...my question is when using taps shower ect my external aqua roll water pump will not turn off ?? Any ideas please . Thanks Mark.
If its a pressure system then the pressure switch may need adjusting or replacing, but if its a micro-switched system one of the tap micro-switches may be stuck on. It only takes one (any one) to turn the pump on, so you will need to check them all. Sometimes the contacts can weld themselves together.
It is almost certainly a pressure switch on a 2009 Clubman. Its difficult to be precise as to what might be causing the problem without more detail but I would suspect a non return valve failing but I don't uderstand why the pump does not run without a tap open if it is a prssure issue.

Thanks birder99 pump works fine but when you turn tap or shower off the pump will just run continuously until you turn it off on the wall 🤷🏻♂️I’ll av a look at switch when we are away in a week or so and try that ....🤞🏻
We have a 2013 lunar this weekend we have had a couple of times when the pump came on itself one time at 4 in the morning, the pump appears to be sucking air, I moved the pump in the water barrel and it cleared for a time

The problem is often between the pump and the pressure switch. First thing to check is the O ring seal where the pump plugs into the van. second check the pump pipe for leakage to do this use a bowl or bucket and part submerge the pump any water loss from the hose or from the van connection will be visible. It only takes a small seepage and the pressure valve stays live.
If the fault is not as above then the pressure valve may be an issue.
The internal pipework could have a leak but less likely and more noticeable.
The pressure valve system is not perfect an empty Aquroll or inflow seepage and the pump can run to destruction. Switching the pump off overnight or when leaving van unattended keeps the pump safe. Some carry a spare pump as a backup. Best regards hope this helps.
The connections and seals at the pump plug become vulnerable with use. It is worth putting a smear of Vaseline on the O ring it aids plugging in and reduces the chance of stress on the hose. Vintage caravaners had a jug then came the pop up foot pump then came the electric pump and foot operated switch. Always new ideas some better than others.
Had exactly the same problem on our elddis last week it was just the plastic locknut on the pressure valve that had come loose allowing the valve to back off a bit re adjusted and tightened locknut and all ok now phew
