I would like to update the upholstery in our Swift. Cushions, seats and curtains will be no problem, but the fixed bed headboard is another matter.

Can anyone tell me how the headboard is fixed to the wall please? To do a proper job I really need to remove it but it feels quite solid when I try to shift it.

There are also upholstered panels fixed to the wall on either side of the window in the bedroom area which are presenting me with the same problem.

The panels on either side of the windows in our Swift are stuck on with really heavy duty Velcro. To get them off you just need to pull really really hard and sort of leaver it from the top to the bottom. You could also try to slide something down from top to bottom in between the two pieces of Velcro to separate them. I’ve never tried to remove the headboard but I would suspect it might be attached using the same method.
