Some advice please - Caravans that have elevating roofs or Pop-Tops?
I know of the Eribas but are there other makes to consider?
The towing vehicle will be a VW Transporter or an Audi A4/A6 estate.
And if you have owned one, what was your experiences of them? I still have grim memories of a VW Camper that had a pop-top and it leaked.

Trigano Silver here.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Caravans at some point in their life will leak, its just fact.
With a pop-top the chance of a leak is that much greater.

We have the Trigano Silver.
Light weight, roomy, under 2m for the French autoroutes( 60% cheaper than a normal caravan or motorhome.)
The roof and sides of the "pop up" are solid and substantial - no flapping canvas.
Have toured the continent for 4 months of the year for the last 10 years with no problems.
Best of all it fits into our garage athome, so is warm and snug all winter long.

Where did you get that fact?
The Silver's roof is mono constructed and overlaps the solid walls.
There is no reason nor possibilty for leakage.
We have been in monsoon type storms, strong enough to topple other people's caravans and no leakage, even though van is over 10 years old.
