I knew something was wrong, we were there the other day and no new Swift caravans. I queried why and the old lady and gent who I'm sure are the owners just said, don't know we only work weekends.
All I can say is that we have had 2 new swifts from them and 10 years excellent service and it's a big shame.
Any ideas why ??

We've had 3 caravans from them in the past, and always had great service. Such a shame for everyone, but particularly the staff who have been made redundant.

We did think something was up when we drove past the other week. Real shame, we used to pick up bits and bobs from the shop all of the time.

drove past last week....all vans removed...only a display awning fixed to side of the shop remains....gates padlocked , lights off in shop....tape over opeing times sign on gates...deserted :(

Sad to see the demise of a great dealer ....so sudden...no explanations ..no forewarnings....

Been around since 1976...I just hope that all the staff who were always very helpful manage to find postions elsewhere.

I note from the link that the liquidators are intending ro have an auction sale of assets ...

It was very strange that they didn't do this at the premises prior to closing unless there was a legal issue in doing so ?

I did see a fleet of caravan low loaders removing the entire stock of brand new and used caravans the week after they closed..
