Anyone have any links for some kind of clothes hanging rail for wet clothes and hiking gear to dry in awning. I dont want to hang in caravan. I have a blow up awning no rails. Ive been looking for some kind of portable light weight hanging rail. Also some kind of plug in heater for awning that some one can recommended. I do a lot of hiking and walking and wet waterproof are an issue. I dont want to put in campsite dryers as they are waterproofs.
We use a Dry:Soon 2 Tier Heated Airer for hanging our waterproofs & wet dog towels. Not cheap, but folds to about 8cm thick, weighs about 4kg & low electricity consumption (200 watts), so shouldn't trip site electrics. Won't heat your awning though, if that's what you want.

I know mentioned not in the caravan, but you can buy a rail that fits in the shower with a bungee type cord wound around it. Hang wet stuff in there with a fan heater on low setting and door closed, to carry moisture out through the shower roof vent. The relatively small space heats up quickly, so its reasonably efficient.
We don't use the shower at all - sites facilities instead. So the shower rail also gets used as wardrobe within the end bathroom, although also used for drying when the occasion arises.
Its plenty strong enough to take wet things - boots on a mat?
For your circumstance I guess you would have to check out the walls adjacent to the shower enclosure would be thick enough to take mounting screws.
