Would like people’s opinions on travelling with this fixed to the caravan. Has anyone had any problems doing this. Thanks.

Never budges. But in use, anchor it down and if high winds forecast, I take mine down. Buy wind break sides. They are really an asset. Often on Gumtree.
I use a slide in front too for inclement weather.

We put ours on at the beginning of the season and it stays there until the end. No problems at all.

only thing I could add is, the one for caravans is in a bag, it can move back and forth in the rail so be aware of that.

Don't know if your aware but you can buy awning rail stops which you simply slide into the awning rail and tighten . They are about £4 a pair on ebay and stop the awning from moving.

My canopy came with the awning stops included.
