I've booked for 2022, OK 3 days t the end of a week in Stonehaven.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

I have been a member of the CC for thirty years and never had any problems, love their sites.
They are a business now and like thousands of other businesses they will have to take a loss in revenue.
How they handle this during lockdown is entirely up to them. I’m sure they consider their members as well as trying to stay afloat.
TBH my biggest worry at the moment is trying to avoid catching this virus.
PS Just booked for Chatsworth for the Country Fair next year. I have not been able to get in at that time for many years.😊

Hello fife-bloke.Sorry I’ve only just seen your post. I’m well thank you, two new knees later and I’m raring to go.
We have booked on Rowntree Park,so easy to just walk into town.We have been to Troutbeck and it is certainly a beautiful site.We like going on the C&CC site at Keswick. We are trying the Derwentwater site for the first time in July.(if we get there)We will try the Gibson Park site probably next year as we want to go round Scotland.
I often wonder how you and your family are getting on. I do so hope you are getting away in your caravan and trying to enjoy your holidays as best you can. It is hard but life goes on around you and somehow you just get carried along.
I hope the lockdown isn’t getting you down too much,it shouldn’t be too long now before we can get out more and look forward to our belated caravan holidays.
