Now that I'm on my own, looking at A Go Pod.
Anyone out there with any advice? and recommendations for useful additions.

I have looked at pictures and have to say, they do look very nice.
They would not be for me though. I can not bend and sit like I used to be able to do. The toilet would never get used either. Seems a very expensive item to me.
Have a google at all other types made in the UK, I would.

When I was first looking at getting a caravan I looked at the Go Pod, and for quite a while I was adamant that was what I wanted.

However after speaking to a fellow caravan owner he advised against it. For one they are very expensive for what you get, also when I looked at it you could only use one awning that was made for the Go Pod, although now it seems you can also use drive away" awnings (which I believe is what Go Pod sell in their Platinum Pack)

I ended up going for an Elddis Explore 304 that at the time was pretty much the same price, but you get soooooo much more for your money.

They do a smaller model, the Xplore 302 that is obviously cheaper than the 304 and a wee bit smaller.
