I’m toying with the idea of either a folding camper or a small caravan. I have 5m Length to store At home so am looking at the sprite 400 or the Abi Monza. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I’m happy to renovate but on a <£1000 budget I don’t know where to start.
Also thinking a 3 berth could be adapted to include bunk beds?

Sounds like a 12 footer or 13 if tight is OK.
Probably a double dinette with double one end and single with bunk at back.
Freedom Sunseeker might suit. Only 10 foot long but works.

Might be worth posting your tow car so the weights can be checked.

Thank you, it’s a Citroen C5 tourer (estate) so towing won’t be an issue. I just don’t want to pay for storage when we do have space, albeit small!

The Elddis 304 is a pretty small van, it has a double at the front with a small dinnete at the side with a bunk over that.

Have you thought about going for a really small van like an Elddis 302 and then using the awning as a sleeping area?

The Freedom caravans are small, made from fibreglass so pretty leak proof.
Eriba are popular small vans but expensive.

Hi - I have literally just purchased a Abi Marauder 400 CT today (it's 12.8ft/3.9m). Super light weight and small. However, if you are a family of 4 it might be a bit small (there is just my daughter and I). Double dinette and bunks at the back. Paid less than £1000.

Good luck, it's only taken me 5 years of researching/thinking/dreaming ...
