Fairly new to caravanning got our abbey Cardinal 315 2006 just over a year ago steadily been buying the kit we need . Until now we have only been away for weekends so never really need spare parts or tools etc.
In Sept we are headup North for 16 days so wondering what spare parts and tools we may need as we are away for so long.
Nit wanti g to take the while garage but is there spares and tools that coukd come in handy.
The list could go on regarding how many tools you probably need because when the unexpected happens the tool you may need is absent from the kit. What I carry as spares are a 10mm. hexagon bolt (as a temporary fix just in case the jockey wheel clamp snaps (which happened a few years ago), a complete set of bulbs for the caravan trailer lights, some Brasso and wire wool to clean up any electrical terminals, a set of Allen keys, a screwdriver set, a set of various pliers (standard and long nose), electric soldering iron, a spare adapter cable for twin electrics to 13 pin socket, a bottle jack and axle stands (in case of a puncture) and a spare water pump.
