hey folks, im returning to caravanning after a gap of a few years. Im thinking of waiting a couple months for all those impulse lockdown purchases to return to the used market once people have realised that caravanning is more than just one trip away a year thing. Do you reckon this is a sensible strategy? Anyone noticed whether prices are going up or down?
Thanks in advance!

If you aren't itching to get away anytime soon, i think thats a good strategy. I have only even bought our caravans/motorhomes in the thick of winter. The dealers, or anyone else for that matter, will lick your boots for a sale in January/February. And, you have the best chance of picking up damp.

Generally looking at re-sale prices at dealers I think they may be riding the 'Covid Staycation Wave'. As always supply and demand will reign. However, as with all market influenced products, surely they will find a level reflecting the REAL prices once again.
