We had a cover specialised one quite a few years ago x I didn’t like it because the caravan seemed to have a film of mildew over it when we removed it . I panicked and never used it again .
But due to us being older and finding it more difficult to clean the roof . I was thinking of trying one again , maybe a cheap one or just a roof covering .
Any views on these.
We have a lot of black spots on the caravan that we find very hard to remove with insect remover and polish .
Many, on here, have said that outdoor storage with a cover can lead to rub marks from wind movement ... so, unless you have a very snug fit, that might be a problem.
I would have thought thatthere would be a modern material that's breathable, thus avoiding mould problems.
We use a cover, but store indoors ... it's mainly a 'dust cover'.
the other issue we found when we had ours, (came with the caravan) was ok you put it on in storage, but taking it off and finding somewhere to a. roll the thing up, avoiding puddles, and b. where on earth do you actually put it? these things dont pack up nice and neatly at the best of times! add a bit of wind and rain and lack of room around the other caravans and damage is going to be done
