Hi all,
       just bought our first caravan after many years camping, looking at breakdown cover. Have joined caravan and motorhome club and been looking at breakdown cover with them via Geenflag. Does the cover cover you for day to day driving when not towing.I have RAC cover so don't want to be paying twice for car cover. Hope that makes sense

Camping and Caravanning Club use RAC. Maybe worth a bit of research to see where you gain between the clubs and the benefits. I belong to both CCC and CAMC and get my breakdown insurance via Greenflag/Mayday but many of the other savings I get via CCC.

Same here.I have used then twice whilst towing and they were excellent on both occasions.

Paid the extra on car insurance for breakdown cover which includes all you need while towing. When paying, I checked with the insurance company that it did provide the full cover. Service provided by RAC

I'm with Green Flag and they do not put up the price each year unlike some companies.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

As John4703 says they don’t increase price every year and I find they won’t haggle which.I often find successful with other insurers..
