I presently have my caravan stored at home with a bespoke fitted cover. I would like to run the heating (240v mains) every so often to keep things fresh and dry inside. Do I need to remove the cover to do this for ventilation purposes?

no as your caravan should have ventilation holes in discret places already, try looking in your lower lockers and you will see what i mean, but just make sure that these are not covered in any way and if you can leave the doors open or lift the seat bases that would help, to be honest with you, you dont really need to heat it, just open the door for a few hours when its a nice sunny dry day, that would be enough to air the caravan

I'm in exactly the same position. And have the heating on at 10 deg. Many say you don't need it, but why risk fabrics getting fusty if you can put a bit of heat in there.
