Hi all
I have a Swift Elegance 645 with the Sargeant control panel .
Above the centre locker where the USB connections are there is a 3.5mm aux socket .

I have tried plugging in my I pod through its 3.5mm lead and switching the Sargeant unit to Aux to play through the caravan speakers and all I get is loads of crackling and no sound??

Does anyone know the reason ?

Just a guess, maybe you need to switch the stereo unit to aux input as the sound will probably go through it on its way to the speakers.

Yes I switched the Sargeant unit to ‘Aux’ and still crackles with no sound?

A friend of mine also has a Swift Elegance (different model) with the Sargeant unit snd aux socket and his does exactly the same?

We found that the sound through the aux was distorted until we turned the volume down on the iPad. Now works really well.
