I can't offer any advice on fitment to a Unicorn but I have been looking at a Dometic unit for our Swift. One of the biggest considerations is the weight, you probably have about 150 kg of payload on your caravan and a Dometic unit weighs 30-35 kg so takes away a big chunk of available payload.

Again, sorry can't help with the Unicorn but have one fitted on our Adria Isonzo.
After researching the living daylights out of these things we opted for the Truma Aventa Comfort. Cracking piece of kit.
It can also produce hot air and has some nice ambient lighting down each side.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We had a Dometic and it was great when it worked, but in a period of 5 years virtually every year we had to have a repair done. Eventually in year 5 it packed up altogether and was unrepairable so £1600 down the drain. We now have Truma Comfort fitted an it seems to be working well.
